What is a Home Health Aide (HHA)?

A Home Health Aide is a trained professional who provides essential care and assistance to individuals in their homes. HHAs assist with daily activities, personal care, and ensure the well-being of clients who may be elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness.

What are the prerequisites for enrolling in the Home Health Aide program?

Prospective students must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and undergo a criminal background check. No prior healthcare experience is required.

How long does the training program last?

The program is a total of 76 hours. 60 of it is online that you complete at your own pace. Once the online portion is completed you can schedule to come in for the final 16 hours which will be in-person in our Hillsborough, NJ office over the course of 2 days.

What is the cost to become a Certified Home Health Aide?

The cost of our program is $399, which includes the 60 hours online and 2 day in-person class. An additional $80 money order made payable to the NJ Board of Nursing will be required for final certification.

Do you provide job placement assistance?

Yes! We have our own home care agency that services clients in Somerset & Hunterdon counties. If you do come on board with us as an employee we do offer tuition reimbursement. Learn more here!
